Design Philosophy

I am aware of local issues and have an appreciation for the diversity of environments, cultural settings and people that make up our local villages, towns and cities. I understand the important role that people play as day-to–day custodians of our communities as well as our natural landscapes. In addition to conservation and regeneration of natural systems, place-making and maintaining or ‘re-making’ a sense of community is integral to sustainability in psychological and sociological contexts. When making project or design decisions, I like to keep it real, make it fresh and be kind to the environment!
