The Lennox Village Centre upgrade was started as a design team ink project and completed in concert with the Ballina Shire Council team whilst on contract. The upgrade is a culmination of many years of community engagement. The design completes the community vision of a ‘slow and safe coastal village’ through slowing traffic speeds, prioritising people, and customising the street aesthetic to fit with the endemic character of the coastal village and landscape. The project not only included the streetscape but 2 community open space areas of Ross Park and Lennox Park including a variety of public and community art projects.
